Just Finished and Currently Reading…

Just finished…

The Puritan Hope by Iain Murray  … a very encouraging read in which one gets to see the indomitable vision of the Puritans for a world conquered by our Messianic King Jesus through faithful servant missionaries and missionary-senders.  This contains some great primary source quotes from such men as David Livingston, William Carey, and Alexander Duff.  Be forewarned.  This book might make you a postmillenialist (or at least a very optimistic amillenialist).

Currently Reading…

My Life for Yours: A Walk Through the Christian Home by Douglas Wilson … although I have just begun this title, it appears Pastor Wilson has penned a work full of grace for everything from the Christian’s front porch to the wrinkly fingers of dishwashers.

An attempt at posting some files

Sunday School Gen 31  I realize that this is not an original idea, but this is a rookie bloggers’s attempt at posting some of the files I produce as I seek to minister in my current ministry context.  You should be able to download this simple pdf file of my latest Sunday School class lesson.
